I’ve been asked 10 times to write a review before I’ve even received my order. So here ya go

I received a Danforce headlamp (I think it's called bold-s) as a gift. I was so happy with it and it is so bright and fits comfortably. But the lens popped off and couldn't be fixed. I emailed them and told them my dilemma. Stephanie @Danforce replied to my email and said they would send me a new headlamp to replace my broken one at no charge! I was so grateful! This company and Stephanie are awesome
In my book. I will purchase from them in the future! Great products!
Kind regards,
Pam Miller

Good quality and pricing. Nice value.

This is a great product, I recommend this and the customer service Is awesome. There is only one thing that I will love to change, and that is the lumens on the biggest flashlight are only 700, less than the small one and less than the one prior made that Has 1200 lumens.

We love all the Dan Force lights
We literally put them through hell and they continue to deliver day in and day out
In our line of business we need a good quality bright light in order to do inspections
Thank you

I first ordered a flashlight kit on Kickstarter and was so happy with it I ordered a second.
At one point one of the flashlights stopped working and the support folks replaced it for a nominal charge promptly.
Since then I have ordered and received two of the headlamp kits and the two pack flashlights.
All the products are exceptional and I love the fact that the batteries are rechargeable.
Top notch company.

Another excellent product from DanForce. The flashlights are quality made and will last many years.

Great Flashlights. Powerfully bright, adjustable beam, rechargeable! What more can you ask for?
Bought four sets. Two to give to mom & sis for their cars & home, and two more for my vehicles. I would definitely recommend these flashlights to anyone interested.

These lights are ultra bright and feel very durable. This is my third Danforce light. The lantern attachment is awesome and really lights up a space. Danforce has quickly become my go to for flashlights and headlamps.

Tactical:adj. Relating to, using, or involving tactics, especially in military or naval operations, and often in contrast to strategy.adj. Characterized by adroitness, ingenuity, or skill.Pertaining or relating to tactics; connected with the art or practice of conducting hostile operations: as, tactical combinations.I can possibly see how these could help with hostile operations, but how would they be better than non-tactical offerings?I think "tactical": must be a good spammy word to get more traffic. Since acquiring these I have not take a hostile stance towards my neighbors and have not felt the need to get involved with military or naval operations. But I have needed to get light in dark places, and these are great for that! The small one is the second best, but the bigger one is fantastic. A good bright light, easy to focus, and it just keeps on and on. Also, being LED it doesn't get hot, despite the huge amount of light it throws out.

I can shine light from our balcony to over 200 yds away and see the light hitting objects and lighting them up. Both the large (2 battery) and smaller light (1 battery) have great quality on no difference in luminosity. The battery and charging of batteries has been a 1 time thing. Lights have range of focus for tight high intensity to soft glow.

This 2 pack of lights is awesome. They are well built and do NOT feel cheap, quality light. Their brightness measures up to the lumens advertised, couldn't be happier with this deal.
Bruce and Kathy O'Gorman
This flashlight set is excellent. It comes with a long and short flashlight, battery charger, USB charger cable, and a belt carrying case for the short light. These lights are “In your face” bright! These are quality made and seem sturdy. The long one is almost heavy enough to use as a club in an emergency. The beam is adjustable by turning the collar around the lens. I highly recommend these lights for the price point.

I use a flashlight constantly for work. So far the battery life has been good and it's always nice to have a back up.

Very bright seems well made. I have purchased flashlights from this company before and they didn't disappoint this time, however the charger is the exception. Very cheap feel and look. Batteries should have positive lock to secure, they slip out easily. The previous version was much better.

Great flashlights. Very bright. Not too heavy and can go from a very narrow angle to a very wide light angle. Batteries charge quickly and if you have other items that use the same rechargeable batteries they will work in those devices as well.

These are two really bright flashlights in a box (one large, one small) that come with rechargeable batteries and a battery charger, a dome for continuous light, a red filter and a holster. The box, for what it's worth, is nice thick cardboard and the instructions are in clear English with easy to follow drawings. This would make a great gift for yourself or someone you care about for emergency preparedness.

I keep this flashlight in my purse so I have a bright light when I'm out after the sun goes down, and need to find my way back to my car (since there is limited street lighting around here). The other flashlight is even brighter, so I keep it in my emergency kit in my car.

I was really impressed with the quality of these flashlights (including the packaging). Would be a great wedding gift or a great gift for the outdoorsy lover. This set is worth the price and I'm just overall very happy with the quality of the flashlights and the accessories included. Bought to use while camping.

Really great flashlights, and a great presentation. They feel very strong and durable. I only really ever use zoomable flashlights at work as it makes it much easier to see oil levels when I concentrate the light on a spot.I love that they come with 18650 batteries, as most flashlights in this price range do not. This set even comes with a charger. The red hunting lens fits on nicely. I'll never really use it, but it does provide a neat eerie glow. It might come in handy for effects in photography work. The lantern attachment is about the same. It's more important to me that it's designed to work with it, because a flashlight that stands on end is necessary for me. I find myself often doing work directly above me.The longer flashlight is on the heavy side. That's kind of a good thing as it feels very robust, like one of those old police flashlights. I mostly use the small one though as it fits neatly in my pocket, it provides enough light, I have 3 batteries, and it fits the carrying pouch.Overall this is a fantastic set.Highly recommended.

This DanForce kit of two flashlights offers a range of features. They are not blindingly bright flashlights but decent enough and rechargeable. They come in a deluxe fitted box so you can store the accessories and the charger; if in the past you have caused great confusion by co-mingling your electronic accessories you know how useful something like this can be – so don't throw it away. The zoom feature allows you a graduated concentration of the beam. Operation is fairly intuitive and the user manual covers most of it with illustrations. According to the manual there are five light modes (high, medium, low, strobe, SOS) but the illustration for this is somewhat different than what is found on the flashlight(s). The instructions say to full click for on and off and half click to switch between modes. Presumably they are referring to the yellow plastic button inside the battery cap. I have accidentally gotten it to strobe and SOS mode but have no idea how I did so. Same with brightness level.I suspect this is yet another English as a fourth language issue, that they mean hard press vs soft press rather than full click vs half click as I have no idea what a half click would feel or sound like. Even then the hard click sometimes switches the light mode rather than turning it off. This is by far the worst constructed mode selector that I have ever encountered and is so erratic that it might as well be completely random. Which might make for an entertaining “who can guess what the flashlight will do next” game during especially boring times around the campfire.I really can't recommend this unless you like adding some humorous confusion to your emergency situation.

This is a good quality flashlight. I like how bright it is and all the features. It worked just fine. We didn't have any problems. It is good for home and emergency use as well as for use when camping or outdoors. I like that it is so strong. It seemed to be of high quality. It felt well made. I would recommend it.

The good: They're bright. They have a cover to make them into a lamp, a filter to turn the light red, a belt pouch for the smaller one, they use common flashlight batteries that are removable and comes with the charger for them, and they're made out of what seems like quality aluminum. The iffy: The focus is minimal even though the bezel moves a good distance, and at the extreme the beam turns into a square with 3 rows of light with a halo around it, but isn't all that much brighter than the wide angle focus, if at all. The wide angle focus does put out a decent amount of light, but nothing blinding. These are good general purpose flashlights. The base of both are narrow, which makes standing them up to use as a lamp with the included cover awkward. You can do it, but you'll need to be careful not to knock it over. The bad: The body is much narrower than the lens, which throws off the balance of the flashlights and makes them look awkward with their giant "heads". The pouch only holds the smaller flashlight, there's no pouch or anything to hold even the red filter. The cover for making them into lamps is awkward to carry around and unless you keep the box, will most likely get lost along with the red filter.

These are actually bright! The longer one using 2 batteries is about 2x brighter. Both are lenser style lights having adjustable focus. The included charger does work but I wasn't filled with great confidence by it... so I did check it and it does work. Why did my confidence get shaken..well the indicator lights flicker when charging and when indicating charged...most chargers do this brightly and with solid intentional appearance this just looked weak to me, that was my only complaint and it isnt about the light lol.The diffusion cap makes the light into a wonderfully bright area light for a tent or a room. And the red lens adapter works well too. Definitely good gear for a good price.

This flashlight set is hefty and seems well made. There are two flashlights (one large, one small) with rechargeable batteries. Also included are a red lens filter, and white dome to convert the flashlight into a lantern, a holster for the small flashlight, a charger, and a USB charging cord. The light end of each flashlight can be pulled out to adjust the light focus. The back of the flashlights have a yellow power button. This is a great set that I expect to last a long time.

If you're new to LED flashlights these will really impress you with their quality, brightness and accessories. If you're a more jaded, experienced LED flashlight owner, these are nothing special. Nice, but nothing special. But for $25, you really can't go wrong. I mean, I up to spend $75 for a penlight. $25 for two full sized lights? With batteries? AND a charger? AND a red lens, AND a white diffuser? Yea, it's a really good deal.Weatherproofing: Decent. The tail, bezel and head are all O-ring sealed. The lens is not. The tail button is silicone, but even so is still only a soft seal. It leaks under pressure or a vacuum. So rain is OK, but a good dunking may cause issues.General observations: The bezels spin right off, even from just rattling around (on both lights), so be sure to tighten them down. I added some Loctite. You can stack the diffuser on the red lens, but it works best on the smaller light because the light is fatter. It works on the longer light, but the diffuser tends to fall off the red lens. The diffuser or lens alone work fine on either one. The shorter light is much wider, so the battery wobbles when the tail cap is off. The tail switches are: Hard press to turn on. Soft press to cycle from bright, medium, low, fast flash, SOS flash. Hard press at any time to turn off. Hard pressing again picks up where you left off in the cycle.Light beam: Same on both lights. At 4 feet: Wide beam is about 6 feet across. Spot has three rings - see the photo. Center spot is about a foot across. At 10 feet, the wide beam is about 16 feet across. The center spot is about 18 inches across. The packaging is definitely designed to be a gift set.

This is a very nice and high quality set of flashlights. The set is as complete as you can get. These are not blinding bright flashlights, but they are definitely worth the price. They are solidly built and precision machined aluminum. A very nice touch is the adjustable light head that allows you to go from a flood light to a spot light. The tactical tail switch makes them easy to hold and use. Each of the two lights have 3 brightness levels, with strobe and SOS as well. The larger light can provide up to 8 hours of light. I read in the description that the larger light can provide up to 2000 lumens of light. I question that claim and personally do not believe that. They are rated at 700 lumens for the large torch, and 480 for the small one.The set is so complete. It comes with the two flashlights, a charger, a carrying case for the small light, clip, lanyard, lantern globe and a red lens cover. That is one complete a set of torches with accessories. All at a great price. They perform well, look great and these are very giftable. I think that they are a terrific value and give them 5 stars because this is a high quality set of lights at an unbelievable price that include Li-Ion batteries.

The original DanForce flashlight was funded by Kickstarter. It is a high-quality flashlight and these flashlights are of similar quality. These flashlights are made of aluminum, they are waterproof and they have an adjustable beam. The beam can be focused to the point where you can see the actual LED array on the wall or adjusted so you get a pretty wide beam. There are less expensive lights out there but the fit and finish are probably not going to be near as nice. There are no Chinese manuals and the packaging is beyond what you would expect for a flashlight. The current price on these is really reasonable considering what you get.You get a set of two lights. One runs on a single 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable battery and the other runs on two of those batteries. It comes with a charger that can charge two batteries at once and a micro USB charging cable. Unfortunately, there are no LED indicators on the charger itself. The lights have a durable look and feel to them. They are advertised as a tactical light but this style light can be used for just about anything that requires a flashlight. There are some extras included like a diffuser to make one of the lights into a lantern of sorts. For me, the main event is the actual lights. There is not case with this set like the G1 Pro flashlight came with but to be honest, I don't really need a case. A belt holster is included though which is probably more useful than a case anyway. These particular lights do not say that they use Cree LEDs in them so I assume they are not Cree LEDs. They are bright though.Just a few years ago, a light similar the this would have cost much more. (at least the US branded version) I shook the lights trying to see if I could get the batteries to lose contact and I could not. The design is good and the quality is very good as well.I may consider getting a slightly better charger with a screen and LED indicators. There are many options out there the 18650 batteries. This formula as been very successful. The aluminum LED flashlight with the 18650 lithium-ion batteries produce a ton of light and offer decent battery life. The DanForce version is less expensive than the super high-end tactical lights but much better than the really cheap ones.

I love that these are USB rechargeable and the ***Batteries are included!!*** I also really like that included is a lantern dome that diffuses the light gently in a confined space - so you can suspend it in a tent or whatever for a light that doesn't blind you when you look at it. Great little set.
Cam
The flashlights look great and work pretty well. However they are actually 480 lumens and 700 lumens - not 2000 and 1000 as is in the product title at this time. The lights are pretty bright and there is a good feel of high quality with the grip and use.Nice in addition is the charging base for the batteries. It's great to have flashlights with rechargable batteries. All said, I'd be interested in knowing if there is a huge difference had these been the lumens as suggested in the product name. I can't recommend based on this inconsistency.
